REASONS FOR THE RECOMMENDATION

The report provided an update on the work taking place to establish the Vision Derbyshire Joint Committee and sought agreement to the temporary Host Authority.

ALTERNATIVES CONSIDERED:

As set out in paragraph 5 of the report.

RESOLVED:

1.    That the recent developments in relation to the establishment of the Vision Derbyshire Joint Committee be noted;

2.    That the temporary Host Authority arrangements as set out in the report be approved;

3.    That the potential accountable body arrangements for a Derbyshire County Deal and possible overlap of arrangements should a Deal be secured in forthcoming months; and

4.    The proposals to review the temporary host arrangements in line with the criteria set out in the report be approved, and a further report on progress be received in due course.
