REASON FOR RECOMMENDATION

Approval was sought to allocate a further £3,900 from the Move More Capital Fund to New Mills Tennis Club to provide the remaining shortfall of £5,400 funding needed to deliver their court refurbishment project.

ALTERNATIVES CONSIDERED

As set out in paragraph 5 of the report.

RESOLVED

1.    That the requested further contribution of £3,900 from the Move More Capital Fund be approved as the Council’s contribution to deliver the court refurbishment project on the basis that all other funds have been secured by the Tennis Club;

2.      That the total contribution to New Mills Tennis Club from the Council’s Move More Capital Fund of £5,400 be approved, which includes the previously approved contribution of £1,500.
