REASONS FOR THE RECOMMENDATION

The Executive Councillor considered:

·           An update on the progress of the Revitalising Buxton project and in particular the Soft Market Testing / Expression of Interest exercise to identify potential developers;

·           Agreement of the next steps procurement exercise to invite proposals from prospective development partners, from which a preferred developer can be chosen and approved by The Executive; and

·           Appointment of an external specialist to support the Council in the delivery of community consultation and stakeholder engagement activity.
