REASON FOR THE RECOMMENDATION

The Deputy Leader and Executive Councillor considered whether to: -

1            Approve the revised delivery plan to deliver a series of community measures to reduce the cost of living as part of the UKSPF delivery programme.

2            Approve the project delivery partners and funding values of approximately £320,000 as follows:

·             Assign capital funds to HPBC Housing/Assets (Norse) to deliver a lighting-based energy efficiency programme within all current housing stock (£259,000)

·             Extend the partnership with Marches Energy Agency to align and enhance the existing model (£50,000).

·             Extend the High Peak Community and Voluntary Support (HPCVS) Service Level Agreement to include the Community Energy Fund for approximately three groups of up to a maximum of £5,000 per group (£17,000).

3            Approve the employment of a new energy officer and fund marketing collateral and small DIY type energy measures (£40,000).

RESOLVED

That the above recommendations, as set out in the report at 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3, be approved.
