STATEMENT OF THE REASONS FOR THE DECISION:

Local authorities have an opportunity via the adoption of a revised ‘statement of intent’ to direct a significant proportion of the funds available to private sector households through the Energy Company Obligation scheme to address affordable warmth.

ANY ALTERNATIVES CONSIDERED:

That a revised statement of intent is not adopted. (Not recommended as some local households would lose the opportunity for support from the ECO scheme).

DECISION:

That the revised statement of intent as attached to the original report be ADOPTED.
