REASON FOR THE RECOMMENDATION

The Deputy Leader and Executive Councillor for Regeneration, Tourism and Leisure considered whether to confirm allocation of £100,000 capital budget in support of projects which deliver the priorities of the Move More High Peak Strategy; and whether to allocate funding towards a new community centre project in Chinley.

RESOLVED

That the allocation of £100,000 capital budget to support projects which help to deliver priorities within the Move More High Peak Strategy; and £39,100 from the Move More Capital Fund 2023/24 and a further £10,900 from the 2024/25 allocation to Chinley Community Association as a contribution towards their new community centre project, be approved, as set out in the report.
