REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION

A briefing was provided on the Refill project, and approval was sought for the council to join and support the scheme as a refill destination and fund the project with a review to continue.

ALTERNATIVES CONSIDERED

1. Do nothing

2. Join the scheme and promote without funding – social media only (not recommended)

3. Joint the scheme and run the licence for 1 year only or 2 years (not recommended) 

4. Join the scheme and run the licence for 2 years

RESOLVED:

1.    That the funding as detailed in paragraph 7.10 of the report be approved; and

2.    That the Council join, engage with and support the project.
